Our mission

Feeding tubes, made simple.

Tube feeding is hard enough. Understanding it shouldn’t be. Lugano Health exists to explain feeding-tube care the way a kind, expert human would — clearly, personally, and safely.

Why we exist

Every year, huge numbers of people are sent home depending on a feeding tube — for their nutrition, their hydration, their medication. The work is technical and safety-critical, yet it’s carried out by patients and the family members who love them, often after only a brief introduction at discharge. The information they can find is scattered, written for clinicians, and rarely tailored to their situation. That gap is what we close.

What we do

Lugano turns your questions into clear, personalized guidance for your exact tube and setup — and pairs it with a growing library of plain-language guides to everything tube feeding. Answers lead with empathy, cite trusted sources, and always point you back to your care team. We’re building the resource we wish every family had on day one.

How we keep it trustworthy

This is health information, so we hold it to a high bar: structured, safety-checked content, reputable sources, clear disclaimers, and review by the Lugano Health team. We’re candid about what we are — educational support that helps you understand and act — and what we’re not: a replacement for your clinicians.

What we believe
Plain language, always

No jargon, no hedging. If a nurse would explain it to you at the bedside, that's how we write it.

Safe to act on

Every answer leads with empathy, points you to your care team, and never guesses at doses or diagnoses.

Personal, not generic

Guidance shaped by your tube, your formula, and your situation — not a one-size-fits-all booklet.

Built with the community

The more people share what helps, the smarter and more useful Lugano gets for everyone living with a tube.
